Used as an air force flying boat depot in World War II, today the lake is famous for its high speed water skiing competitions. Lake Boga offers an array of water sports, fishing, or just enjoy the glistening waters. At the Catalina park on the foreshore you can have a relaxing picnic or barbecue, while the kids enjoy the playground. Lake Boga offers a wide range of activities for the holiday maker, its well serviced and has everything you need for a perfect relaxing holiday.

The small riverside township of Tooleybuc, only 45km north-west of Swan Hill offers excellent fishing with access to the Murray, Wakool, Edward and Murrumbidgee Rivers. Located nearby between Tooleybuc and Koraleigh, the “Ring Tree” is also worth a visit. The tree is a result of bending and tying small branches of living trees together to indicate aboriginal Tribal boundaries many hundreds of years ago. Only a 15 minute drive from Tooleybuc you will find Lake Poomah, popular with water skiers, and those looking for a peaceful picnic spot. Situated on the most direct route between Adelaide, Canberra and Sydney, Tooleybuc makes an ideal stop over for travelers.
